I have a Section 8 tenant and she has filed to pay her portion of the rent for 2 months now. Can I personally write a 5 day notice or quit letter or do I need a lawyer to write one?
You're not required to use an attorney, but it will greatly reduce the chance that the notice is technically defective because you included info that is not permitted or failed to include required info. I'm sure anyone who responds would be required to help if you decide to hire an attorney.
I hope you found this response to be helpful. If so, please click "best answer" and/or "helpful." Avvo is a a very useful resource, but does not create an attorney-client relationship, and cannot replace an in-depth consultation with a lawyer. Steven Krieger Law, PLLC
Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not. What determines Avvo Rating?Experience & background
