We moved in together and my roommates decided to put a camera in the living room/kitchen area pointed to the living room area where the door is. I have been notified of it and have asked repeatedly for it to be taken down. I've told my landlord about it and they refuse to do anything because it's an in house issue. I've had nothing but argument after argument with them about the camera as well as many other things but nothing is ever done. So basically I want to know can I go to the court and get something that requires them to legally take it down and put it somewhere else like the hallway outside our door.
I doubt you would prevail in this request. It is their space just as much as yours.
