PSE&G are claiming that they never received the Stop Service request I entered on-line (while they conveniently did receive my Start Service for my new address!). I have written proof showing that my address legally changed at the end of April, 2014 (moving company invoice with old address/new address, bank statements showing new address reflected as of May 2014, letter sent to my management company at old address providing 60-day move-out notice, etc.). For months now, PSE&G have been giving me the run-around and asking me to settle this with the current tenant, who very conveniently washed his hands of the matter. What legal recourse do I have in order to settle this directly with PSE&G so they can remove the balance form my account and charge the current tenant?
