Can I sue my son’s mother for back child support ? Also can I sue the TX child support system for causing me stress?

If you did not have a petition filed to modify child support during those six years then you cannot collect back child support from the mother. All you can do is get a credit for the time you supported the child. I agree with Ms. Laster that you need a lawyer to help you get this straightened out. If you and the mother have not signed documents showing you had the child the AG does not know what was going on. And they have governmental immunity so suing them is not likely to succeed.
Please be advised the posting of this answer does not create an attorney-client relationship. Karen L. Marvel and Marvel & Wong, PLLC, as a condition of their employment, require a signed written employment agreement prior to formally establishing an attorney-client relationship with any person.

Your options depend upon what’s happened so far legally. To get advice about your case an attorney would need to review the court file and advise you from there. As far as suing the child support office that’s not probably going to do you a lot of good, even if it were possible.
Accepting cases in Dallas, Denton, Collin and Tarrant Counties. THIS IS GENERAL ADVICE AND DOES NOT REPLACE A PERSONAL CONSULTATION WITH AN ATTORNEY AND DOES NOT ESTABLISH AN ATTORNEY/CLIENT RELATIONSHIP
