I was fired recently and someone told me that I need to be payed immediately after being fired. I asked my old boss about it and he said I have to wait two weeks for the normal payday. Can I sue the company?
No. In most states, an employer does not have to give you special treatment after firing you. The final paycheck is due on the usual payday.
Consider applying for unemployment.
