Consult a medical malpractice attorney in your area. There are statute of limitations that apply to these cases. Usually two years from when you knew or should have know of the injury and the damage caused by the alleged malpractice. These cases are expensive and a cost benefits analysis needs to be performed by an attorney that can properly discuss whether you have a case worth pursuing.
Rudeness is not actionable. So, there is no claim from the facts you recite.
If the doctor communicated these facts to someone other than you, perhaps you have a case for slander, but, without damages you can prove, you will not recover anything worthwhile, and it will cost you a lot do do that.
This is a summary based on incomplete facts. You should not rely on it as legal advise. No attorney-client relationship is intended to be formed.
Assuming everything you recite is true one of the first questions I have for you is how do you feel you have been damaged?
The answers given are not to be considered legal advice or the retention of an attorney. Every case is unique and cannot be adequately addressed in a forum such as this. You should immediately contact an attorney of your choice for a consultation and in depth analysis of each individuals case.
