I Bought a car from a dealership they told me the car was a four-cylinder it was great on gas and instead it is a six cylinder, also it had a leak in the air filter, the transmission is leaking and needs a new battery, the tire sensors were messed up. The two front tires or not the same, During the first week when I got it it was already lagging and stopping on me.
It is a violation of Connecticut law for a dealership to make any false statements regarding a motor vehicle. The statement that it is a 4 cylinder when it is a 6 cylinder is a violation of that law that would enable you to collect damages and to claim attorney's fees and punitive damages. Under some circumstances, you might even have the right to make the dealer buy the car back.
The other claims will depend upon a variety of circumstances, including how old your car is, what your contract says, and the nature of the problems.
