The next morning my husband receive a text message from my neighbor saying I talk bad things about them. And my neighbors is so angry when I called her on the phone she was angry saying bad words and stuffs the other want wanted to punch me. Even I didn't say anything bad. My co-worker make up story to put me in trouble. Can I sue her please help.
If co worker has no money, it will cost you. Maybe get neighbor to give a statment that the coworker said these things and give it to HR. Maybe they will bounce the coworker.
You can sue anyone for just about anything but that doesn't mean that you will prevail. You have to be able to prove damages. In a situation like this you will likely spend thousands of dollars on an attorney and recover nothing.
