I recently took my car to a firestone establishment where they run an auto body shop out of the back the guy never finished the body work to my car. When I took my car to him he said that it would take at 3 weeks to do the bodywork I picked up my car after 2 months and the bodywork still was incomplete I took my car to another body shop to get the remainder body work done and had to pay extra money. The first Body Shop had me pay out $1,750 and the second Body Shop had me pay $525 to complete the remainder. After the work was complete the auto body technician at the first Body Shop said that he would pay me back $1,000 of my money but never did. My question is can I sue him for the full amount or is it possible to sue the Firestone establishment which it is run out of?
You can only sue him for the money that you did not receive. You can sure both him and Firestone. Keep in mind that the Firestone dealer could be a franchise.
