The doctor scheduled a colonospy checked it for cancer found out the doctor accidently left the colon closed tried to pull on string to release. Now I have to have another surgery to remove and reopen my colon.

Insult with local personal injury lawyer that does medical malpractice work
It may be malpractice, but unless the doctor's error left you with disabling, permanent injuries, it would probably be a case that would cost more to pursue than you would hope to get at the end of the day. If the upcoming surgery, God forbid, goes south, then you should contact a malpractice lawyer in your area. Good luck.
It’s not clear to me why your colon had to be tied off in order to do a nephrectomy. And it’s not clear to me how you were able to function gastrologically in such a state. But if that is the case and if a foreign device was left inside of your abdominal vault clipping off your colon then you may have a claim for medical negligence. Unfortunately without substantial often permanent injury your damages may not be sufficient to justify the expense of a full throated medical malpractice lawsuit. But in my experience, such oversights can result in more modest compensation for the victim.
