First thing you do is get your problems repaired by a doctor you trust (the one who finally diagnosed you).
Second thing you do is talk to a lawyer who handles malpractice cases. He or she can review your records with an expert to determine if there was malpractice, if that malpractice caused you further problems, and whether the case is worth pursuing.
