I went to a business to buy their gift cards to take advantage of a promotion my credit card has. I had multiple credit cards with me. The clerk said that the only reason someone has more than one credit card is if they are stolen or trying to commit a fraud. I told her that I have my ID and credit cards and names match. So not only she refused to sell them even when I said I will only use one card, she repeatedly said I am trying to use stolen cards. There was another employee listening and watching us but she did not say anything.
I belong to a minority ethnic group. I lost an opportunity to save some money and got insulted in front of another employee and my spouse.
Can I sue them? What are my options?
