My wife and I were living together but we file separate that way we can get some income back. But she left and now she don't break bread. We are still married so we are both entitled To half right
No. You are married. You can take it all if you want SO LONG AS she has not filed for divorce and you are not under some form of local rules or Standing Orders. Check your local district clerk where you last lived together to make sure she hasn't filed on you. TX does not have separation.
Aloha! I'm A lawyer, but I'm not YOUR lawyer unless and until we've both signed a written Representation Agreement. I would be happy to speak with you about becoming your lawyer, but until then, my answers are for information purposes ONLY and do not create an attorney-client relationship or privilege. Mahalo (Thank you). "Believe it or not, your lawyer is NOT the one making your life complicated."
Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals.
