I got caught for driving one way but the officer did not charge me with dui. I had 5 grams in the car.
If the officer tested your blood then yes you can be charged with a DUI. If the officer just confiscated the marijuana, then you are probably not being charged with a DUI.
If the officer just gave you a ticket for going the Wrong Way Down a One Way Street, I suggest you pay the ticket immediately. By paying you are pleading guilty, but the Officer will then be prohibited from charging you with anything else, as an additional charge will be double jeopardy.
Regardless, I suggest you speak to a local attorney, just to confirm what happened in your case. That way you can make the best choice for your situation.
A standard bail condition is that you are not permitted to engage in criminal activity. If you do not have a medical marijuana card, then you are not permitted to smoke marijuana. If you smoke marijuana, then you are engaging in criminal activity, and you are thereby violating a bail condition. If you are caught, your bail could be revoked and a secured bail would be set. You would then need to post money or collateral to remain free during the pretrial phase of your case.
