I paid a cash bail of $2,500.00 to bail out my childrens father on a felony charge of possession of forged checks in the 2nd degree. Now additional warrants are going to be issued and he is refusing to go to court. Is there a way to revoke the bail if I turn him in to the court before his court date
You would have to bring the person to court in order to revoke the bail. The point of bail is to insure that the defendant appears in court when directed to. Failure to appear results in forfeiture of the bail.
