I visited usa in 2014 on b2 visa for 6 months. Then icame back to India and filed h1 through a mid sized company.unfortunately It was denied on Nov.4 2015. Now i want to revisit USA on my existing b2 visa. Is it Still valid.and what to say at poe.
Yes, you can visit the US. You must be truthful at the port of entry.
Mr. Shusterman's (former INS Trial Attorney, 1976-82) response to your question is general in nature, as not all the facts are known to him. You should retain an attorney experienced in immigration law to review all the facts in your case in order to receive advice specific to your case. Mr. Shusterman's statement above does not create an attorney/client relationship.
Your B-2 visa is still valid. If the customs officials ask you about the H-1B from 2015, just be truthful. It will not vitiate your B-2 visa or entry.
In most likelihood the H-1B petition denial, did not affect the visa. You will always approach all questions honestly.
