I am currently in court with a girl that abused my daughter. She is supposed to be on pretrial supervision where she just calls in, well I had someone tell me they went over his girls house and she was getting high (heroine) and as part of the pretrial she’s supposed to be clean and doing drug and alcohol rehab. Well, I believe that this shows how she is as a person that she can’t even do this; can I request that the state do a drug test?
If this is a family court case you can ask for the Court’s Medical Services Office to do drug testing, home study, etc. but the beat evidence is the witness’ statement and testimony about what she saw.
Can you get a signed written and dated statement from her as soon as possible? Can you get a commitment from her to testify? Also the Circuit Court for Baltimore City has a daily free family law assistance clinic where you can get free legal advice
The Circuit Court for Baltimore City has an in-house Medical Services Office and that Office can do the testing if you request it and it is approved by a Judge
