He had canceled many times at the last minute and I had asked him to confirm in advance so that I can plan the kids weekend accordingly but he just doesn't care of letting me know anything and he does as he wants and has no consideration for the kids weekends or mine.
The best course of action is to file a motion asking a judge to order that if he does not confirm that he will be exercising his parenting time within say 24 or 48 hours in advance of the parenting time commencing that he gives up that weekend. The circumstances may give rise to other issues as well (modification of child support) so it is best this application be filed with the assistance of counsel.
