We rented a single wide trailer on a month to month lease, we are currently going through the eviction process and have received a 3 day eviction notice ,they have took our propane tank shut off or running water, and cut off electric by taking the meter. They have refused payment to restore electric service and the sheriff said he can't make them turn it back on because we don't own the trailer or property it's on ,I explained that this is deprevation of utilities but he said to save it for court ,I also cannot have a generator because they say it's too loud and against park rules, what do you make of this situation they are filling a eviction lawsuit on Wednesday after the 3 day notice is up,I have nowhere else to go so I have no intention of leaving I'll fight for as long as I can get and hope that based on what has happened that the judge will rule for a 30 day eviction notice at least ,also since I rented the trailer can I pull it off the lot without owner permission as it's my house and they are deprived me of utilities?
Ack! Same Asker!! Same matter! Four times now....
Alas, all we can give is the same answer: you need to consult with a good local tenants lawyer ASAP! There is nothing anyone can for you here on line! Hurry! Time is running out (if it hasn't already) Please do not waste it fiddling around here on line and talk to a lawyer about this now.
As I have said previously; if you have little or no income, and no substantial assets, then you might be able to get assistance from local legal aid - but talk to a lawyer right away, ok?!
Hope this helps.
