Can I protect my Property from being taken away if I get sued?
For example, if I own my house and I hit someone with my car in an accident and the person wanted to sue me, could they potentially take my house away if it was under a certain trust?
If not, what would be the best way to protect myself or assets? I am open to any suggestions or ideas.
Thank you in advance.

If you have already been in an accident and you convey your property you may be exposing yourself to additional liability. I recommend that you consult with an attorney before you do anything that can make matters worse.
