I threw a party this saturday and the noise got out of hand, so the cops came. We didn’t answer the front door but the cop came from the back door and was in my house. He yelled, “can someone come here?” I didn’t want to get in trouble so I went and provided all my information and never gave him my id. I got a citation and it says on both of them I am a “male”. When I told them to stay outside they proceeded to come inside and looked around. Is that the right thing to do? I need help.
Best to contact the local magistrate and see who exactly got the citation and discuss disputing it
