Son-in-law was transferred from VA to Washington state. Unable to get their home in VA sold in time for transfer. We bought house for them, with the promise of taking over loan when VA house sold. They did not qualify for full original price, but qualified for the loan balance. The Monies we put out in their behalf we would like back. Can we put a Voluntary Lien on their house?
