You can obviously ask them to leave and try to direct them off your property, but you cannot touch them or threaten them if they are only trespassing unless you want to risk criminal charges. You definitely cannot beat them up simply for trespassing and not expect to face criminal charges. If someone is trespassing on your land and will not leave, call the police and let them handle it.
