The products that I want to import can be manufactured in Mexico, and since I posess the know how in manufacturing these products I can sell to companies in the US that buy these products to make sales. The products are Fine Jewelry in Sterling, Brass, copper and German Silver based on the customer requirements. I don't have a company in Mexico right now since I work for several manufacturers in Mexico as advisor in manufacturing and design, but I could do this directly with my customers since they would rather prefer to buy from me than to Mexican companies. All taxes would get paid in the US from profits. Is this possible?
if you stated all this to the consular officer and they issued the B-1 visa to you for this purposes then you can otherwise you can not work in the U.S. just by virtue of receiving a B-1 visa which is for business visitors.
You may open a company in the US however, as a B visitor you are not permitted to be employed/work in the company in the US.
