I have had temporary custody of 3 children for over 9 months. The mother has failed to comply with court orders. The farther of 2 of the children was recently released from prison where he took classes in means to obtain custody. The father is now standing with said mother of the 3 children whom still has not complied with court orders against me. Do I have a fighting chance to obtain legal custody?
Yes, but if you have temporary custody through Job and Family Services, it is required to try and reunify the children with parents if parents progress on their caseplan. Contact an attorney.
