I am looking for a fresh start out of state. My daughters father has rights and we are on agreed upon visitation amongst ourselves. However within the past year her father does not wish to speak to me so I respect his wishes and my daughter is the communicator. This is the only thing holding us back and I just would like to know my options.
You will need either a court order or written permission from the father.
YouTube parents sticking your daughter in the middle as the communicator is a horrible practice.
The opinion that I express should not be considered to be legal advice that can be relied on. It is based only on the limited amount of information provided rather than doing a thorough review of all of the important information that is required to give accurate legal advice. You should consult with an attorney that has extensive background in the area of the law that your are inquiring about.
Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not. What determines Avvo Rating?Experience & background
