I have recently moved to the USA on an L2 VISA as a dependent of my spouse (L1 VISA holder). I have a youtube channel which I have created back in India. The monetization of this channel is not yet done. And I am planning to keep my work on creating video and uploading it to the same youtube channel.
Do I need to have an EAD for enabling monetization of my Youtube channel?
I think this is an immigration question. pass to that area. It would be helpful if questioners did not use acronyms (i.e., EAD) as either we don't know what they are or frequently they are misspelled.
A person in L2 status would be advised to have an EAD for enabling monetization of a Youtube channel. Keeping one's work on creating video and uploading it to the same youtube channel may be considered unauthorized employment as well.
