My I-140 is approved today and it might take a while before the approval reaches to me in mail. My wife is going out for vacation for one month on this Friday.
I have the I765 form ready and signed my her. She has I-94 right now which is on H4. If I receive the I-140 approval after she leaves from US can I still send her application?
You have to be in the US on H4 status to file the EAD, so wait till she returns.

To receive the I-140 approval after she leaves from US and still send her application in as if she is in the US is immigration fraud. If she is in the US on H4 status file the H4 EAD with the receipt or USCIS website approval verification.
