Have a family member who was homeless and needed somewhere to stay. Since being here hasnt helped with any expenses of the home and has caused emotional trama and stress to myself and my children. Has threatened my eldest child with bodily harm.
Depending on how long he stayed there you will likely have to file for eviction. If it has been a very short time then you should be able to have him removed. If you intended to let him live there then you need to evict him. A lawyer can help you with this.
If they are a guest, you can demand they leave. If they have been there a long time, they may qualify for renter protections which will require you to give notice of eviction, and perhaps follow through with an action for eviction. If they are being abusive, call the police and get a restraining order which may accomplish the same thing. .
