I'm recently divorced and I'm in the process of actually losing the place where I live and I was curious as to how would that affect my custody agreement with my ex-wife because it says that we cannot leave state with our son without their permission of the other parent I didn't know if that would have a affect if one of us were to become displaced
Your loss of a house has no effect on that part of the order. You need permission to move out of state just as the order says. If she refuses, then you have to go to court for an order allowing it, or primary custody may have to change from you to her.
So maybe discuss it with her and reach a new agreement. Or you will be stuck going to court.
