I am in a 2-year lease in a small office building and there has been numerous problems since moving in. I recently found out that I am paying for the electricity for the office next door because the the offices weren't split properly. After checking with the city there is not a certificate of occupancy issued on the building. Does this mean that I can leave my lease without being responsible for the remaining rent owed?
