My son is 5 and my ex has a girlfriend with a son who is 3 and a daughter who is 7. They live in a two bedroom house and my son has to share a bedroom with the two children when he goes to visit. Is it my right to keep him from staying overnight with his father for this reason?
Generally judges require that a child has their own bed but don't generally require that a child has their own bedroom. You would need to consult with an attorney about the specifics of your case to see if this general principle applies to your situation.
Although I am an attorney practicing law in Nebraska, the answer I provide is for general purposes only and does not establish an attorney-client relationship. If you need legal advice, you should contact an attorney who will discuss with you the specific facts of your case.
Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals.
