He is about $6500 behind in child support, has moved 23 miles to a different state and turned down job offers because he is baby sitting his girlfriend's kid. I have tried to work out something so he could be a part of his daughters life but he is unwillingly to work with me due to him babysitting during the day and me working when his girlfriend is off. I have asked him if there was a day he could have his girlfriend take off so he could see his daughter, and he said that she isn't able to do so and he didn't have money to pay some one else to watch her kid. Our daughter is 4. He has seen her 3 times since March and maybe a dozen and a half times the entire year of 2016. I have tried to bend over backwards to make it possible for him to be a part of her life with no success. There is a current restraining order on him for threatening to kill me and he also has a previous conviction for felony domestic assault after cracking my cheekbone.
For some reason, the AVVO software mislabeled your question under Employment Law. I'm going to relabel it so that you can get an answer from someone who has the proper expertise.
