Can I have 2 I-485 filed?
My priority date is earlier than my husband but since I changed my job I don't have an approved i-140.
My Husband's filing date is current(but the final action date is still a few years out), can I apply I-485 with him now and after a few months when I have my I-140 filed, I apply I-485 through my employer?
Filing with my husband will get my EAD earlier but on my i-140, I will get my green card earlier. According to the current bulletin, there is only a few months gap in my priority date and final action date.
Note: Final Action dates are much behind Filing Dates.
