So i lost my green Card and i applied for lost green card and i just got my ASC appointment notice for I797C form .... But before that i realized my passport has expired and i sent it to the embassy for renewal... During that time, i was looking for my green card and i realized i have lost it... so i applied for lost green card after i have sent my passport for renewal .... so at the moment , i have no form of ID.... can i take a copy of my expired passport and a copy of my lost green card as a form of ID or do i need to reschedule the ASC appointment?
No, a photocopy of an expired passport can not be used for ID at the ASC.
Don't you have a state-issued ID/DL?
I suggest calling the number on the biometrics appointment and re-schedule for when you get your passport.
