I have been sexual with my boyfriend and I told him 6 months later after we had sex that I was infected. He continued to have unprotected sex with me after that and he contracted it many months later. Can I still be sued even tho he continued to have unprotected sex with me?
Anyone can be sued for anything. The real question is will he be successful, and if he agrees with the facts you have stated, it would be difficult.
Any response I provide is meant as a general view on the subject and is no way intended to be specific legal advice to any individual. If you wish specific advice, you should hire and consult with an attorney of your choosing.
When did you know you were infected? That’s a significant fact that greatly affects liability.
