My license is currently suspended and I need to get a state ID, but I have an active warrant . Will that keep me from getting one and can the DMV arrest me while I'm there?
An outstanding warrant does not prohibit you from acquiring a state ID. However, to get one, you have to walk into the building that houses the headquarters of the oklahoma Highway Patrol. The individuals you deal with at the counter can’t arrest you but they could notify the troopers who are in the building. Or not. They could be nice and just warn you about it.
