I am 17 about to be 18 and i got charged with possession of a fire arm in arizona. Instead of running i was wondering if i could ask the po officer if he would let me sign my release papers and let me off unsuccessful with my felony i know its a bad choice but i cant take this pressure anymore. I just got charged with 1 count of possession with a fire arm/ illegal weapon. I never got introuble before that is there anyway possible to get let off with out doing jail time. Is it even possible to get let off early with the charges
You can always ask, whether they will agree is another story. You can also try filing a motion with the court requesting an early termination. Your PO may even agree and recommend it to the judge. Ultimately, any changes in your sentence would be decided by the court so your best bet is to pursue it there. You should hire a local attorney to assist you.
This is not to be considered legal advice nor does an attorney-client relationship exist.
You can ask but it is a terrible decision. Contact a lawyer. You need to sit down and discuss your cases and the consequences of wht you are proposing to do.

The two previous answers are good advice. You should always discuss the possible options and their outcome with your lawyer.
