He deserted me for another woman he had a child with. We lived in my house. He never helped with any mortgage payments or car insurance, food, electric etc. we have prenup stating “ my house and contents stay with me and vice versa “. My house burned to ground. He took $15k from MY CONTENT $$. Does he not owe me for that? I found out later he lied to insurance co. About what HIS contents were. Do I not get alimony or alienation of affection? He had innumerable affairs. He has over $20 k of my property. Please advise. Sincerely
Hire an attorney to file a divorce. Explain to him or her everything you have stated. Take your prenuptial agreement to your appointment. These contracts can be enforceable. Otherwise, you are entitled to an equitable split of your assets. You may be entitled to alimony. Alienation of affection is an action brought against the other woman in a different cause of action. Good luck.
