It's not necessarily the lawyer you retain that can cause the dismissal of you case, but the facts of your situation. Attorneys do not have magic fairy dust to sprinkle on a case and make it disappear. You will need an attorney, and hopefully something can be done to avoid a conviction. The first concern is the nature of the offense(s). You are stealing and doping, which are not good combinations. You are also admitting to an offense on the internet. Do not discuss the facts of this matter with anyone but your attorney from now on. Good luck
Use the AVVO site to help you find an attorney " Find a lawyer" tab. Next, stop posting "facts" about he case on a public website - there is no confidentiality protection here. The facts of the case will control what happens here - having a good lawyer always helps - but we are lawyers - not magicians. Start with getting yourself an attorney.
Call a qualified criminal defense attorney in the Houston area for help. I wish you the best of luck in your current situation.
