My landlord and ex husband has filed for eviction and writ of possession and both have been awarded. I owe him $11,000. He has offered to drop the eviction if I sign off on my child support, which I refuse to do. I have been looking for another place and thought he would give me more time. He has changed the locks, with a constable present, and I Have not been permitted to return. Everything I own is in that apartment. I have been unable to get my medications, clothes, food, money and my cat as well.
What can I do, I must have some rights to basic essentials. I am a single mom making minimum wage, I am not sure where to turn.
