I have TPS which is going to expire in March.I am planing to renew TPS but,no I-745 since my work permit is extended until September. I filed I-485 plus I-745 with receipt dated 12/5/17. I had my Bio metrics on 12/27/17. My question is should I file I-745 with I-821 if I am waiting on my I-485? Will uscis send me a new EAD for the I-485 application?
Thank you very much for your help
You can obtain the EAD on the basis of the filed FORM I-485. Your TPS work authorization has been automatically extended to September 2018 and you do not need to file the TPS FORM I -765.
You may submit an application for AOS based EAD.
USCIS will send an EAD for the I-485 application. An I-131 travel permission should have also been filed. Sometimes, but not always, DHS issues a blanket automatic extension of the expiring EADs for TPS. if re-registration is required for your TPS you must re-register. . If your country’s EADs have been not automatically extended, we would recommend both I-765 and I-821
