I recieved a reckless driving speeding ticket in Virginia I live in Georgia I called two days before my court date and ask can I be reschedule because my funds was not able to get me to Virginia they told me no they cant and a warrant will be issue for failure to appear what can I do because I never heard of this they should be able to reschedule for one time only
This question is best left to a Virginia attorney in the vicinity of where your ticket was issued. Unfortunately, what is customarily acceptable in many Georgia courts may not be how business is done in Virginia. Reach out sooner rather than later, as it is easier to address these things head on than to wait until a warrant is issued that then must be dealt with in addition to the ticket.
