It happened over 15 years ago. It was not for selling. I am currently living in Italy. I came to America May 1970

4. My ex-wife & my adult children & 3 grandchildren are US citizens. I never became citizen, I was legal resident of the US for over 35 years. All my brothers reside in the US. I have no immediate family in Italy
5. I was charged as follows: "On February 11, 1993, the defendant pled guilty to Robbery in the Second Degree, & was sentenced to an indeterminate term of three to nine years in prison. On July 14, 1995, the defendant was paroled to the US Immigration & Naturalization ("INS"). Defendant was detained by INS until he posted bail for his release. On March 4, 1997, an Immigration Judge ordered defendant be deported to Italy. Because of defendant's robbery conviction & his 2 prior narcotics convictions, the IJ found that Cottone was deportable as an aggravated felon and
I was deported in 1998. I returned illegally in 2000.
New York does not expunge. I doubt you have grounds to vacate the conviction but consult with a criminal defense lawyer.
