Hi , I am 18 years old going on to 19 in 3 months and I just recently married my husband who is 27 years old . Now my question is am I able to fix his papers? Eventhough he has some speeding tickets that he is currently giving payments for and he has been here since he was 8. He went up to high school but didn't receive his diploma. Any feedback will be very appreciated. Thank You!
This is an immigration issues, misplaced, as always, by Avvo
You will need an attorney, given what is happening in immigration.
All of Ms. Straus’ responses are intended as useful information, based solely upon the facts stated in the question, and are not to be relied upon as a full or complete legal opinion. They may not be what you wished to hear, they do not create an attorney-client relationship. Ms. Straus has been licensed to practice law in California for 33 years. Ms. Straus regrets that she does not provide follow up free advice via email. She also regrets that blunt responses may be taken as "rude" by those who wished a different opinion. Good luck.
Maybe, but it is impossible to answer your question without knowing what your husband's situation is. Was he inspected when he entered? Is he on DACA? Consult an attorney.
