6th year of H1 B starts from March 2019. The Company had a layoff and asked to wait till June 2019 to file PERM/Labor Certification to complete 180 days of wait time. Can we file Prevailing wages during the 180 day period and get it ready to file PERM from July 2019 to get H1 Extensions?
Also, is it mandatory that I need to have PERM petition applied 365 days before the end of 6th year H1B status or how do I extend my H1B status?
Please advise, Thank you!
The timing of posting, PW request, etc. requires 'tight' scheduling.
Talk to the company's immigration lawyer ... you are supposed to stay as far away from the PERM process as humanly possible.

Good luck to you.
These are all very simple issues. Doesn’t your attorney have any answers? He/she is being paid to help you.
