got sick have hospital and doctor bills over 56 thousand dollars my medical ins paid very little on them
Your question is unclear: "file 'on' medical bills?" File what? Where? Against the insurance company? Ins. Co. pays pursuant to your insurance policy, a certain percentage. You may request that they re-assess your bill and negotiate payment in long-term installments.
Speak to local asset protection/bankruptcy counsel as these bills are generally able to be discharged in bankruptcy.
This is not a medical malpractice issue. I have relisted your question under insurance.
You have not told us the basis upon which you feel you can bring a claim, nor have you told us against whom.
Payment of your bills is governed by your contract of insurance. If you feel your insurance company has not followed the contract, then you potentially have a breach of contract claim. I suggest you have an attorney review your situation. Bring a complete copy of your insurance policy as well as the EOBs for the payments to any conference you hold with the attorney.
