On the uscis website it says: This rule allows a U-1 principal to file the Form I-929 for qualifying family members either concurrently with or at a later date than their Form I-485 application for adjustment of status.
However, on the i-929 form they ask for i-485 receipt number. Can we still send our forms together at the same time or do i need to wait untill my wife gets the receipt number and then i file mine? It is a little bit confusing.
Mr Pierce is correct
