I am on STEM OPT and have recently been offered fellowship offer which is supposed to start on 6 Jan and would end on 30th April. It is an unpaid employment, full time, 40 hours/weekly. Can I file h1b on this employment?
Since an H1b must be paid the prevailing wage, this will not be permitted.

H-1B employee is to be paid a wage (prevailing or higher as offered to similar)
This response is general in nature and cannot be construed as legal advice, given that not enough facts are known. If you wish to discuss your case further, you may seek an appointment here - www.lawyersharma.com/book-online.
