Can I file bankruptcy in NJ without my husband?

It is possible to file bankruptcy alone or jointly with your husband. The best advice is to consult a bankruptcy attorney to determine the best course of action.
Take care and good luck.

If you can file at all (which you probably can) then you can file without your husband. That doesn't mean that you should. Depending on your circumstances and your goals, either a single or joint filing might be better -- I can't tell. I recommend that you and your husband go talk to a local bankruptcy lawyer together.
